Glenn Ruffin Green, 71 of Louin passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Jasper General Hospital in Bay Springs. He was born April 30, 1952 in Laurel.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 1:30 PM until 3:30PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Funeral services will be at 3:30 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Church cemetery. Bro. William Savell will officiate. Glenn worked for Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks for 28 years. He also was Lake Manager at Lake Claude Bennett for 28 years. He was a member of W.E. KING Lodge #615 and a board member of the Jasper County Farm Bureau. Glenn loved spending time with his grandchildren as well as sawmilling, woodworking, autobody painting, farming, and horseback riding.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Green and Heleneese Ruffin Green.

Survivors include his son, Charles "Dusty" Green (Leah) of Louin, MS; grandchildren, Thomas Green, Mary Helen Green and William Green; sisters, Boyce Christopher (John) and Wanda Sue Glen and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Will Sims, Keith Glenn, Ashley Lewis, Tommy Harrison, Lee Griffin, and Michael Martin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rene Read, Charles Harrison, Wiley Phillips, Sammy Windham, John Keanen, Ricky Ruffin, Duffy Bankston, and Robert Jones.
