Haskel D. Simmons' Obituary
Haskel D. Simmons, 85, of Louin, MS died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born Wednesday, September 16, 1931 in Mississippi.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 01, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel in Bay Springs with graveside services to follow at 2:30 PM at Louin Cemetery. Bro Kevin Parker will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601)764-2181
He is preceded in death by his wife, Francis Jolene Simmons; step-daughter, Mary Lawan Asprudus, parents, Richard Simmons and Emma Simmons; step-son, Michael O'Delle Roberts, sister, Dorthy Stokes; brother, R.L Simmons, brother, Edward Simmons and sister, Martha Dean Simmons.
Survivors include his nephew, Ricky Simmons; step-daughter, Peggy Roberson; nephew, Timothy L Simmons; and step-son, Phillip Ray Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Timmie Simmons, Anthony Simmons, Aaron Simmons, Richard Simmons, J.D. Phillps and Lee Roy Phillps.
