Helen Doris Massey, 89, of Bay Springs, MS, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Wednesday, March 13, 1935 in Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Providence Primitive Baptist Church on CR 106 Stringer, Mississippi. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Elder Mark Quarles will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, David Murry Massey; father, Daniel Frazier Stringer; mother, Edna Earl Bryant Stringer; brothers, Daniel Terrell Stringer and Rufus John Stringer; sister, Catherine Sauer.

Survivors include her son, Robert B. Massey (Lorie); daughter, Jennifer Massey; grandson, Nathaniel Bullock; granddaughters, Stacey Holifield (Norton) and Shayna Campbell (Garrett); as well as three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sam Duckworth, Cooper Duckworth, Riley Townsend, Gary Townsend, Nathanial Bullock, and Hayden Myers.
