Hilda Grant Bowden, 95, of Woodstock, Georgia, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Tranquility Hospice in Marietta, Ga. She was born Sunday, March 4, 1923, in Sylvarena, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and the Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Dr. Randy Turner will officiate. Survivors include Frances Dianne Lindsey (Sam III) (Daughter), James Lawrence Bowden (Bonnie) (Son), Samuel Lindsey IV (Shawna) (Grandson), Harrison Grant Lindsey (Shanna) (Grandson), Sarah Bowden (Chris) (Granddaughter), Samantha Bowden (Granddaughter), Kalyn Day Lindsey (Great-granddaughter), Samuel Lindsey V (Great-grandson), Kaydence Dianne Lindsey (Great-granddaughter), Jacob Linkous (Great-grandson), Julia Fraser (Sister), Joanne Bucklew (Sister), Tommy Grant (Becky) (Brother).
