Ida was a faithful member of Ted Baptist Church where she led the song service for over 45 years. Her love for singing for her Lord brought great joy to Ida's heart. As much as she loved singing, her love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren was her greatest joy. Ida loved watching them all play in whatever sport or school activity they were in, always cheering them on. She was their biggest fan.

Ida's time on earth brought many enjoyments. She loved cooking for her family, feeding the kids in the school cafeteria and of course watching every Atlanta Braves ballgame. She enjoyed being around people in general. She always had a ready smile and a joyful laughter to share with anyone she met and it will be greatly missed. To know her was to love her. Ida lived her life as a shining example of one who loved the Lord and evidenced her strong faith in God.

Ida is survived by her sons, Randy and wife Linda; Kenny and wife, Ginger; grandchildren, Sean (Debbie) Brown, Shannon "Bubba" Brown, Missy Brown Buckley, Blair (Curt) Shumock; great grandchildren, Dalton Brown, Alex (Corey) Creel, Jameson (Kaylie) Buckley, Jarrett Buckley, Reese, Livy and Tripp Shumock. A host of nieces and nephews. Friend and caregiver, Roxanne Bryant.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
