Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Jesus Name of Raleigh in Raleigh, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Jesus Name of Raleigh and the Burial will follow in High Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Glen Haymen and Bro. She was preceded in death by her father, Winton Dale Thornton, sister, Goldie Davis.
Survivors include her daughter, Courtney Powell (Eric), mother, Lennie Sue Thornton, grandchildren, Faith Breland, J.C. Powell, siblings, Frankie Thornton, Mac Thornton (Monica), Tammy McKay (Kevin), Emily Gonzalez (Jose) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brock Pope, Sam Grant, Carl Johnson, Kevin Bray, Kodi McKay and Jimmy Page.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin McKay, Jose Gonzalez, Brice Thornton and Scott Sumrall.
