James Norris Evans, 68, of Louin, Mississippi, died Sunday, May 31, 2020, in Louin, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, November 24, 1951, in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Baylis Cemetery, and the burial will follow in Baylis Cemetery. Bro. Steve Pouncey will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

Jimmy was a wonderful father and loving husband who will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norris Lamar Evans, and his mother, Ernestine Windham.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Betty Sue Evans, his son, Matt Evans, and his brother, Tom Evans (Tracie).
