James Timothy McRee Jr., 74, of Louin, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Mobile, AL He was born Friday, July 25, 1947 in Newton, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and burial will follow in Louin Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Timothy McRee MD and WilloDean McRee.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Arlene McRee, children, Autumn Sumrall (Casey), James McRee III, grandchild, Michael Keith Sumrall, brother, William Charles McRee II (Ginger), sister, Sharon Ball (Dwight) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steve Stockton, Ronnie Boozer, Eddie Jackson, Jason Dyess, Bill Dyess, and Thomas Sims.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Dyess, Bill Sumrall, Charlie Wiggins, Blayne Scott and Ronnie Jackson.
