James Howard Ratcliff, 52, of Louin, Mississippi, died Monday, February 10, 2020 in Charlottesville, VA. He was born Thursday, October 12, 1967 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and the Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. J.R. enjoyed spending time at home with his family and driving his beloved truck for Parrish Transport.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vernoir Kaye Ratcliff.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Tina Darlene Ratcliff, daughters, Aimee Floyd, Kayla Michelle, sons, James Ratcliff Jr (Treana), Matthew Underwood (Jordan), Michael Hill, grandchildren, Everette Hill, Collin Underwood and 2 granddaughters, father, James Malcolm, mother, Vernior Montgomery (Bobby), brothers, Franklin Ratcliff (Darla), Rick Viles (Marsha).

Pallbearers will be Rick Viles, Matthew Underwood, James Ratcliff Jr., Triston Anderson, Michael Hill and Frankie Ratcliff.
