Services for Mrs. Janelle Wagner will be held on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at First Baptist Church of  Taylorsville at 2:00 PM. The family will receive family and friends from 1:00-2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Edon Baptist Church Cemetery in Stringer, MS.  She was born on January 19, 1935, and passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 90, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Chapel of Bay Springs.

Janelle was a retired school teacher in the Smith County school system and a member of the Smith County Retired Teachers. She was a member of the Unobee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Janelle was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville, and the Lydia Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dean Wagner; her parents, Dan and Thelma King; son, David Wagner; and Daughter-in-law, Darlene Moore Wagner.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Dan Wagner of Stringer; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Wagner Foreman (Terry) of Brandon; her sister, Jimmie King Eaton; her grandchildren, Derek (Ana), Dylan (Brooke), Wesley (Katharine), Jessica (Steve); her great-grandchildren, Alexis, Myah, Dani, Eli, Kruz, Laurel, Livi Lou, Simone, and Vivian; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Derek Wagner, Dylan Wagner, Wesley Wagner, Tripp Eaton, Ford Eaton and Blaine "Bo" Eaton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Edon Baptist Church Cemetery Association and/or First Baptist Church of Taylorsville.
