Janice Karen Barnes, 70, of Louin, Mississippi, died Saturday, April 6, 2019 at in Louin, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, July 13, 1948 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Leaf River Cemetery and the Burial will follow in Leaf River Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Martin will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

Janice was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed her friends and loved the nursing profession.

She was preceded in death by Danny E. Shannon (Father), Jessie M. Shannon (Mother).

Survivors include Danny A. Shannon (Brother), Cynthia Coats (Mark) (Cousin).

Pallbearers will be Mark Coats, and Travis Coats.
