Jason Richard Thornton, 39, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at his home. He was born Monday, December 3, 1979 in Raleigh, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh in Raleigh, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Eastside Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Stevie Hand will officiate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stevie and Charlotte Thornton.

Survivors include his brother and sister, James Thornton and Jessica Thornton.

Pallbearers will be Lee Herring, Dale Graves, Joseph Graves, Brian Whatley, Michael Dale Whatley, and Christopher Moseley.
