Jessie M. Shannon, 86, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, May 18, 1932 in Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July  7, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Leaf River Baptist Church in Louin, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Leaf River Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Leaf River Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Martin will officiate. Ms Jessie was a remarkable person and kind hearted. She enjoyed her family and friends greatly.

She was preceded in death by Danny Shannon (Husband), Jessie Adams (Father), Rebie Adams (Mother), Delores Spurlin (Sister), Carl Adams (Brother).

Survivors include Janice Barnes (Daughter), Danny A. Shannon (Son), Mary Davis (Sister).

The family greatly appreciates Becky Ulmer and the staff of Jasper County Nursing Home and also appreciates the tender loving care of the staff.
