Jimmy Dale Graves, Jr., 57 of Bay Springs, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. He was born Sunday, April 11, 1965 in Jones County.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:00AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Louin. Rev. Steve Pouncey will officiate.

Dale was a Christian and a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church. He was dedicated to the plumbing profession with M & M Plumbing at Soso. He loved his friends and family, and was a special friend to his wife, Laura. He enjoyed camping with Laura and meeting new people at campgrounds around Mississippi. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, and spending time with friends around town. He loved his time with his nieces, Nicole, and Kay-bree, especially riding them around on his four wheeler. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Dale Graves, Sr.; mother, Nettie Linda Fowler Graves; brother, Hollis Andrew Graves; sister, Tina Rena Graves; great-niece, Peyton Ruth Holloway.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Beth Folks Graves of Bay Springs; brother, Joseph Lynn Graves of Bay Springs; sister, Shirley Holloway of Taylorsville; nephews, Chris Holloway and Cody Holloway (Maddie) and Briar Wallace; great-nephew, Atlas Holloway; great-nieces, Nicole Holloway and Kay-bree Holloway.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Special music will be provided by Ms. Rhonda Warren.
