Jimmye Elizabeth Wade Horn Adkins, 90, of Bay Springs, MS died Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Jasper General Hospital in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Tuesday, May 18, 1926 in Greene County, MS.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Visitation to begin at 11:00 AM until time of service at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Burial will follow in Bay Springs City Cemetery. Rev. James Sprayberry and Bro. Steve Pouncey will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601)764-2181

Mrs. Jimmye held several jobs during her lifetime, among those were: NECO, Jitney Jungle, Seamstress at Horn's Cleaners and the Public, Manager and Manager Trainer for TWL Stores, Wal-Mart, The Clothes Closet, Denson's Food Mart, Shortstop, Raleigh Forest Products, Bay Springs Country Club Pro Shop and taught the English Language, Reading and Math for the JCJC GED Program. She loved fishing and sewing. She was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved her grandchildren and family dearly, along with Mississippi State Football. Her favorite T.V. Shows were Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Rawhide and the Rifleman.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, George Horn, second husband, Robert Adkins, parents, Willis and Flora Idus Wade, brother, Clifton Wade and sister, Margaret Hill.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol McNeil (Glenn), Bay Springs, MS; son, David W Horn (Linda), Semmes, AL; daughter, Susan McNeil (Mike), Louin, MS; son, George Kenneth Horn (Delana), Bay Springs, MS; grandchildren, Glenn E McNeil, Jr. (Amanda), Melissa McNeil, Adam Horn (Michelle), Barron Horn (Jessica), Trey Tradewell (Samantha), Brandi Smith (Colton), Kelly Stringer, Lacy Deese (Kaleb), David T Horn, Lynn Allen (Vince), Lysa Manos (Willy), great grandchildren, John M. Musgrove, Madison McNeil, Piper McNeil, Paisley McNeil, Clare Musgrove, Erica Musgrove, Kristen Jones, Presley Horn, Landry Horn, Molly Horn, Josey Horn, Colton Horn, Annabella Horn, Cooper Tradewell, S.J. Smith, Ali Welch, Hawk Hendry, Sydney Stringer, Finley Deese, Silas Deese, Hillary Stanley (Nic), Wade Alexander Manos, Caitlin Mason Westry, Chelsea Annmarie Mason, Camryn Summer Mason and Cherish Allen; great great grandchildren, Dareon Tyler Mason, Jordan Benjamin Mason, McKenly Elise Francis, A.J. Westry and Eli Westry; sister, Willis Ann "Sally" James and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Hawk Hendry, David T. Horn, Adam Horn, Barron Horn, John Musgrove and Edison McNeil.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Keyes, Calah Ulmer Pittman, Angela McMullan, Bo Stockman, Susan Myrick, Glenn Musgrove, Jack and Mary White and the J.C. Nursing Home Staff.
