Joanne Dykes, 74 of Laurel, MS passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, June 16, 1948 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 2:30PM at Dykes Family Cemetery in Stringer, Mississippi. Bro. Stanley Doggett will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. 601-764-2181

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Dykes; son, Michael Dale Dykes; daughters, Kimberly Renee Dykes, Jennifer Na'Dean Dykes and Baby Dykes; father, Winston Knight.

Survivors include her mother, Ollie Dean Ishee Knight; brothers, Jimmy C. Knight and Kenneth Knight; granddaughters, Kayla Ratcliff and April Ratcliff; great grandchildren, Lara Matthews and Triniti Matthews.

Pallbearers will be Robert Anderson, Austin Strickland, Hunter Knight, Jamie Chisholm, Kevin Knight and Allen Williamson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy C. Knight, and Jerald Chisholm.
