John Wesley
Walker
May 26, 1990 – August 24, 2024
John Wesley Walker, 34, of Raleigh, MS, passed from his earthly home and went to be with his heavenly father, on August 24th, 2024. He was born May 26, 1990, in Laurel, MS to David and Michelle Walker. Wesley grew up in Sylvarena, MS and attended Raleigh High School and graduated in 2008.
Wesley had a smile that was contagious and could make anyone's day better as he was always joking around with everyone. Wesley loved hunting, his dogs, coaching his son's baseball and football teams, spending time with his family and friends, and enjoyed nice cool days at the river. Most importantly, he loved his wife Ashley and son Weston and to know him you knew that.
"We never knew the day that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same, but God calls us one by one.
the chain will link again."
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Aunnie Kelly, A.G. Kelly, Eddie Walker, and Birdie Walker, his brother Jonathan Walker.
He is survived by his wife Ashley Walker and son Weston Walker. His parents David Eugene and Michelle Walker, brother Dalton Walker. Mother-in-law Julie Hilbun (Toby Hodge), father-in-law Gary Ainsworth (Dianne), brother-in-law Randall Ainsworth (Savannah), Grandparents John and Jo Stringer, and Jimmy and Dixie Walker, and niece Rylie Ainsworth and Nephew Walker Ainsworth.
