Johnny Lee Arender, Sr., 74, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, March 21, 1945 in Raleigh, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Eastside Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Eastside Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Vilous-Arender Cemetery. Rev. Red Bowen will officiate. He was preceded in death by wife, Geraldine Arender; parents, Vilous and Ellia Arender; granddaughter, Ashley Arender; grandson, Colby Lee Arender; eight siblings.

Survivors include children, Karon Bacon (Tom), Johnny Arender, Jr. (Jerri), Terry Arender, Sr. (Jeri), and James Arender, Sr. (Allison); 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dez Cruz and Neil Hart (Johnny).

Pallbearers will be Terry Arender, Jr., James Matthew Arender, Jr., David Matthew Lee, Cameron Husband, Guy Vanizant, and Josh Allen.
