Buell Johnston "Johnny" Barnett, 74, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, died Sunday July 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born Friday, January 14, 1944 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday July 16, 2018 at the Bay Springs City Cemetery.  Rev. Davis Carothers will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Edward Barnett and Mary Lucille Johnston Barnett.

Survivors include his brothers Eddie Barnett, Bay Springs, MS and Andrew Barnett (Carla), Flagstaff, AZ.
