Jonathan Edward Phillips, 59 of Bay Springs, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Thursday, October 7, 1965, in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Bay Springs, Mississippi.  Bro. James Sprayberry will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. 601-764-2181

Mr. Jonathan was a loving husband, step-father, step-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was a attended of Bay Springs High School and then continued his education and graduated from Hinds Community College.  He enjoyed spending time hunting, riding his Harley, working in garden, grilling for his family and friends, and listening to his Classic Country music.  He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Nicole Phillips; mother, Sylvia Elaine Anderson Phillips; and brother, Daniel Phillips.

Survivors include his loving wife of nine years, Kimberli Phillips of Bay Springs, MS; one step-son, Adam Brugh of Bay Springs, MS; one step-daughter, Angela Combs of Jacksonville, FL; three step-grandchildren; father, Hillman Phillips, Sr. (Henrietta) of Stringer, MS; one brother, Hillman Phillips, Jr. of Douglasville, GA; two sisters, Melissa Phillips Woods of Wesson, MS and Deborah Phillips Sanchagrin (Doug) of Florence, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Eric Woods, Phillip Woods, Adam Brugh, Doug Sanchagrin, Hunter Watts, and Blake Sanchagrin.
