Jonathan Dale Walker, 25, of Raleigh, MS died Tuesday, October 1, 2019, in Raleigh, MS. He was born on April 18, 1994, in Laurel, MS to David and Michelle Walker. Jon grew up in Sylvarena, MS and attended Raleigh High School.

He grew up playing baseball and football and loved being around cattle and operating tractors. He had a passion for team roping and being around his friends. Jon was a hardworking, lovable young man who never got in any trouble and never had anything bad to say about anyone. Jon attended Crossbrand Cowboy Church in Sylvarena, MS.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Annie Kelly, A.G. Kelly, Eddie Walker, and Birdie Walker.

He is survived by his parents, David Eugene and Michelle Walker, brothers Wesley Walker (Ashley), Dalton Walker, grandparents, John and Jo Stringer, Jimmy and Dixie Walker, and nephew Weston Walker.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Walker, Tony Wedgeworth, Chase Tally, Ben Matthews, Joel Houston, Joseph Houston, and Josh Stringer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019, from 2 pm-4 pm at Crossbrand Cowboy Church in Sylvarena, MS. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 4, 2019, also at Crossbrand Cowboy Church with interment to follow at Johnson Cemetery in Sylvarena, MS. Bro. Dean Cook and Bro. Rusty Stockman will officiate. Colonial Chapel of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements (601-764-2181).
