Chief Joseph George Moon, USN Retired, born June 13, 1951, went to be with our Heavenly Father, March 3, 2022.

Joe is survived by his wife of 47 years, Darlene A. Moon of Bay Springs; three daughters: Darlene Sanchez and her husband Alberto of Harrisburg, PA; Angelique Moon of Seoul, South Korea and Erica Long and her husband, John of Gulfport; his grandchildren: Elena Sanchez, Rosali Sanchez, and Elijah Long; one step-brother: Fred Rebbe and his wife Barbara of Seguin, TX.

He loved God and his family; he served his country faithfully; he never met a stranger. He was full of joy and always ready to lend a helping hand.

There will be a celebration of life worship service at Lake Como Baptist Church in honor of Joe Moon, service time and details are to be determined and announced by the family.
