Judith Lynn Hall Russell passed away peacefully at her home on July 29, 2022. Born September 23,1935, in Meridian, Judy was a nurse who worked at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg and then later at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and the Mississippi State Hospital at Whitfield.

An avid sewer and quilter, Judy loved sewing and volunteering her time to help others.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Virginia and Walter Hall and survived by her children Becky Bersch (Steve), Rodney Russell, Rhonda Purdy (Scott), her brother Dr. Don Hall (Betty), 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made the Bay Springs Baptist Church where Judy was a member.
