Julia Mae Brewer, 85, of Louin, Mississippi, died Friday, December 22, 2017 at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, December 27, 1931 in Pattison, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Reads Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Troy Donahoe will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Harrell and Julia Boone Harrell; husband, Tucker E. Brewer and brother, Mike Harrell.

Survivors include her children, Tommy Brewer, Louin, MS, Lisa Smith (Jerry), Laurel, MS, Sherry Brewer, Louin, MS, Sherrill Lawson (Mike), Louin, MS, Buddy Brewer, Newton, MS, Linda McAlpin (John), Stringer, MS and Patty Williams, Quitman, MS; 20 Grandchildren; 34 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers will be John Williams, Brandon Thornton, Blake Brewer, Thomas Brewer, Pace Brewer, Luke McAlpin and Andy Brewer.
