Julia R. Myers, 93, of Bay Springs, MS died Tuesday, July 04, 2017 at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Thursday, December 6, 1923 in Bay Springs, MS.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs with funeral services to immediately follow in the chapel. Burial will follow in Bay Springs City Cemetery in Bay Springs, MS. Rev. Davis Carothers will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601)764-2181

Ms. Julia Rae attended school in Bay Springs and was a member of Bay Springs United Methodist Church. She spent her entire life dedicated to the needs of numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her: Parents - Ethel Edgar and Bessie Sorey Myers, Sisters - Velma Massey and Ethel Hester; Brothers - Troy Myers, George Myers, A.G. Myers, Robert Myers; and Nephew - Robert N. Myers.

Survivors include her Nieces - Joan Myers Drinkwine, Ethel Rae Myers Lott, James Myers; Nephews - Glenn Myers, Hugh Allen Myers, and Ples Hester, Jr.,

Pallbearers will be Aaron Myers, Anthony Myers, Steven Myers, Jason Hester, Ples (Sonny) Hester, III, Brian Holmes,
