Kathryn Helen Meeks Rhodes, 91, of Bay Springs, MS died Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Saturday, May 08, 1926 in Jasper County, MS.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Burial will follow in Louin Cemetery in Louin, MS. Bro. William Savell will officiate. Helen was a lifelong resident of Jasper County and a member of Louin Baptist Church of Louin, MS. She had a great sense of humor and a love for gardening. Helen will be missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Grace Meeks, husband, Alvin "Teenie" Rhodes and son, Jerry Rhodes.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sherry Rhodes, grand sons, Justin Rhodes (Wendy) and Stephen Rhodes (Chrissy), great grandson, Houston Rhodes and host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Justin Rhodes, Houston Rhodes, Stephen Rhodes, Danny Meeks and Randy Meeks.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Gene Meeks.
