Kenneth Puckett, 89 of White Oak, MS passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Mississippi Care Center of Raleigh. He was born Sunday, March 1, 1936 in Smith County, Mississippi.

Kenneth served our country honorably in the US Navy where he was a Seabee.  Kenneth is a long-standing member of White Oak Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, and held the honor of being the oldest Male member of the church. For many years he worked in the logging industry as well as a cattle and poultry farmer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00PM at White Oak Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at the same location. Burial will follow in White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro Tim Robertson and Bro Danny Adams will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his son, Rocky Brex Puckett, Sr; parents, Robert and Lillie Mae Hall Puckett; sisters, Ruby Mae Puckett, Robbie Baldwin, and Eula Mae Bray.

Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Peggy Derrick Puckett of White Oak, MS; grandchild, Rocky Puckett, Jr of White Oak, MS; a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Jim Overby, Larry Ivy, Kyle Nichols, Shelton Houston, Jerry Powell, and Marty Patterson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hollis Hodum, Sammy Traxler, Donnie Thornton, Donnie Arender, Mike Grayson, Robert Bray, and Rob Bray.

Special music will be performed by Jennifer Adams and Cynthia Adams.
