Larry Ainsworth, Jr. passed away on April 21st 2025, with family by his side at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11am-1pm at Colonial Chapel in Bay Springs, MS with the service to follow.  Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery in Stringer, MS.

One thing about Larry, he was a great outdoorsman. He was the happiest when he was on the water, and he loved to travel and go camping.

Larry was a mechanic at Woolwine Ford Motor Company in Collins MS. If there was anyone who knew anything about a Ford Motor, it was him.

He would always have the biggest smile whenever you would see him and a contagious laugh that you could not help but laugh with him. He had the biggest heart that his family knew. Larry had a love for his dogs that was unreal, and considered his dogs his babies.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Larry Ainsworth Sr; mother, Deborah Blue; brother, Jerry Ainsworth; father-in-law, Robert L. Hull Sr; brother-in-law, Robert (Bobby) L. Hull Jr, and sister-in-law, Susan Andrews.

Survivors include his wife, Cheri Ainsworth, of Bay Springs, MS; daughter, Jessica Wimberley of Bay Springs, MS; uncle, Virgil T. Ainsworth (Teresa) of Soso, MS, brother, Gary Ainsworth (Diane) of Bay Springs, MS, and his sons Larry Ainsworth (Colleen) and Taylor Ainsworth. He had 3 grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived and will be missed by his work family at Woolwine Ford Motor Company in Collins, MS.
