Laura Laverne Lewis, 89 of Louin, MS passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Tuesday, September 19, 1933, in Jacksboro, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 1:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, MS. Burial will follow in Montrose Methodist Church Cemetery in Montrose, Mississippi.   Bro. Joe Garvin will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Daniel "Dan" Lewis; parents, Tom and Willie Helms Snider.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Glenn Bilbrey (Elaine), Billy Don Bilbrey (Sherry), and Steve Thornton (Donna); 8 - grandchildren and 14 - great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chad Bilbrey, Billy Bilbrey, Jeremy Thornton, Joey Helmes, Kirby Haden, and Toby Haden.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shaun West, Hawk Hendry, and Matthew Ethridge.
