Lessie W. Hollingsworth King, 92, of Bay Springs, MS died Monday, July 03, 2017 at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Saturday, April 25, 1925 in Newton , MS.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 06, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 06, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, MS. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. She is preceded in death by her husband Annis C King, father George W Hollingsworth, mother Onnie W Hollingsworth, brother Norman Hollingsworth, sister Nina Hillman, brother Earl Hollingsworth, brother Edison Hollingsworth, and sister Gertie Williams,

Survivors include son M.L. King (Sheila), Bay Springs, MS, grandchildren Brandon King (Robin), Josh King (Chloe), great grand children Ben King, Grace King, Ivy King, and Connor King, sister-in-law Elizabeth Hollingsworth, and sister-in-law Dot King,

Pallbearers will be John Mark King, Don Harris, Wyatt Moulds, Kenneth McNeil, Wendsel Phillips, and Larry Jones.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mississippi Lung Association.

The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Jasper General Nursing Home and Dr. Mary Clawson for the outstanding care they provided to Mrs. Lessie.
