Linda Dianne Lancaster of Madison, MS passed away at home with her family by her side on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the age of 74.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs with Bro. Jim McIntosh officiating.  Burial will follow at Pineville-Leaf River Cemetery in Louin, MS.   Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of the services, (601) 764-2181.

Dianne graduated from Bay Springs High School in 1967 with highest honors.  The same year, she married Wesley Lancaster, a union that would last for 56 years.

Dianne began her banking career in 1976 at Jasper County Bank, later to become Magnolia state Bank.  During her 29-year banking career, she rose to become Vice President of Human Resources and Secretary to the Board of Directors.  Her career was cut short due to several chronic illnesses.  Dianne retired from Magnolia State Bank in 2005.  That same year, she and Wes moved to Hattiesburg to be closer to family.  In 2008, they moved to Madison, MS where she lived until her death.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David Read and Mike Read.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley; sons, Justin (Lisa) of Ridgeland, MS, and Josh (Laura) of Calera, AL.; grandchildren, Shelby Buyck (Chris), Cortland Lancaster (Rachel), Sutton Lancaster (Amanda), Nathan Lancaster (Andrea), Kelsey Lancaster, Connor Lancaster, and Katie Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Misha Lancaster, Emmy Lancaster, Archer Lancaster, and Judah Buyck; and one nephew, Tyler Read of Columbia, MS.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
