Marcus Craig Sims, 60, of Raleigh, MS died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born Friday, October 26, 1956 in Raleigh, MS.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, MS. Bro. Rusty Stockman will officiate. Marcus was a wonderful Dad, "Grumps" and friend. He loved to hunt and raise his Jack Russell dogs. Anyone who knew Marcus, knew he loved to joke and aggravate people. If you were one of the lucky people to get picked on by him, you knew you were special to him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steve Lester Sims, mother, Maxine Sims, grand parents, Steve and Lena Sims, Earl and Eva Yelverton.

Survivors include his daughter, Lacey Wade (Ben), Petal, MS, son, Jake Sims, Jackson, MS, grand children, Cannon Wade, Livy Reece Wade, sister, Sheila Hammons (Larry), Raleigh, MS, nephew, James Hammons, Bay Springs, MS, neices; Trinity Hammons, Bay Springs, MS, Haley Hammons, Bay Springs, MS.
