Margie Webb Harris, 89 of Forest, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the King`s Daughters Medical Center.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at Raleigh with services immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Pineville-Leaf River Cemetery.
Rev. Rodney Hannah will officiate.
Born, Tuesday, May 1, 1934 in Smith County, Mrs. Harris attended school at Pineville, and her professional career was as a seamtress at Newton Company and she retired from DADCO at Forest. Quilting and sewing were favorite past times.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.D. Harris; one son-in-law, Larry Sullivan; one daughter-in-law, Jackie Harris; her parents, Buford Ross and Maggie Mammie Hollingsworth Webb; one brother, Frank Webb; one sister, Dulane Harris; one step-brother, Harvey Hester and one step-sister, Mary Sue Hester.
Survivors include her children, Ruby Gaye Sullivan of Mt. Olive, Buford Randall Harris of Louin and Gloria Harris Hannah (Tommy) of Forest; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one brother, H.D. Webb of Taylorsville; one sister, Flora Headrick of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Hannah, Jason Hannah, Ethan Hannah, Gene Boone, Michael Shackleford, and Ty Henderson.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of arrangements.
