Martha Barefoot Blackwell Adams, 81, of Bay Springs, MS died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her residence in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Sunday, April 05, 1936 in Dancy, MS.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Burial will follow in Montrose Cemetery in Louin, MS. Bro. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Barefoot and Carolyn Barefoot; brothers, Hop Barefoot, Thurman Barefoot, Ashton Barefoot; and sister, Carolyn Hendry.

Survivors include her son, Clayton Blackwell (Natasha), Bay Springs, MS; grandchildren, Bandice Blackwell, Petal, MS; Ethan Montgomery, Bay Springs, MS; brothers, Roy Barefoot, Newton, MS; Hyran Barefoot (Joyce), Jackson, TN; brother, Thomas Barefoot; Charleston, MS; and sister, Vivian Walker, Montgomery, AL.

Pallbearers will be Larry Barefoot, Harry Barefoot, David Barefoot, Steve Barefoot, Chris White and Jeremy Breland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
