Marty Dale Walley passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on August 21, 1961 in Jackson, Mississippi.  Marty was a talented musician and vocalist and nothing made him happier than sharing his love of music and zest for life with his friends.  He had a great sense of humor, which never left him, even in his illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mardie and Marie Walley.

Survivors include Jill Mitchell, mother of their daughters, Kayla Walley and Hanna Huff (Josh), granddaughter Elizabeth Huff, sister Jeannie Williford (Charles), long-time girlfriend Jana Horn and close friend Connie Morgan.

The visitation and funeral will be held at Alta Woods Methodist Church in Jackson on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 .  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. , with the funeral immediately following the visitation. Following the funeral, the interment will be at 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Bay Springs, Mississippi.
