Mary Helen McCarty, 96, of Bay Springs, MS passed from her earthly home on Friday, October 13, 2017 peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born Thursday, December 2, 1920 in Bay Springs, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by two daughters, (son-in-law), one grandson (wife), and two great-grandchildren.
Ms. McCarty was a resident of Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. The family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff for their kind and compassionate care and support during the years she was a resident at the home.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Bay Springs City Cemetery with Bro. James Sprayberry officiating. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jasper County Nursing Home Activity Fund.
