Melissa Eve Hill Cherry, 46, of Stringer, MS died Monday, October 24, 2016 at her residence in Stringer, MS. She was born Saturday, March 14, 1970 in Jasper County, MS.

She loved her family and friends and doing things outside.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Cherry, father, Donnie Hill, grandparents, Gertrude and Gene Windham and Myra and Luther Hill.

Survivors include her fiancé, Keith Ellis, mother, Janis Newton, Stringer, son, Corey Cherry (Courtney), Stringer, son, Tanner Cherry, Stringer, grand children, Raylee Cherry, Brenton Cherry, brother, Bruce Hill, Stringer, brother, Glenn Hill, Stringer.

Pallbearers will be Corey Cherry, Keith Ellis, Wes Hartfield, Tyler Parker, Casey Logan, Glen Houston.
