Melvin Ray Smith, 62, of Ellisville, MS died Thursday, February 09, 2017 at his residence. He was born Monday, May 03, 1954 in Newton, MS.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs followed by funeral services at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Louin Cemetery. Bro. Leo Beatty will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601)764-2181
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas and Vera Louise Smith and son, Alex Ray Smith.
Survivors include his daughter, Cristy Romar Smith, Ellisville, MS and step-son, Justin Privett, Ellisville, MS.
Honorary pallbearer will be Lewis Wilson.
