Minnie Marie Carpenter, 85, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Jasper County Nursing Home. She was born Wednesday, January 1, 1936, in Odessa, Texas.

The family will be planning a Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Minnie at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Carpenter, Jr. and her parents, John and Ora Rollinson.

Survivors include her daughters, Ann Rayburn (Mike), Jane Tingle, and Karen Carr (Russell); grandchildren, Angela Sides (Kevin), Daphne Williams (Joel), Katie Carr, Anna Carr, and Maggie Carr; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Sides, Jacob Sides, Alexis Sides, and Blane Williams; great-great-granddaughter, Meri-Rayburn Sides.
