Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Liberty Baptist Church in Raleigh for Nadiya Mackenzie Butler, 16, of Raleigh, who passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022. Interment will be at Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville. Bro. Stanley Doggett will officiate the services.   Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh, MS.

Nadiya was full of life and always had a smile on her face.  She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trucks.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  Being a responsible young lady, Nadiya was entrusted to keeping numerous young children.  She loved each of them as her own.

Nadiya will be remembered for being sassy and spunky but would do anything for anybody.  To know her was to love her and she will be forever missed.

She is survived by her parents, Charles and Jennifer Butler; brother, Nathan Butler; grandparents: Chuck Niolet (Tessie), Louise Parker (Greg), Peggy Parker (Mike), and Thomas Butler; uncles: Josh Niolet (Summer), Daniel Parker, and Austin Parker; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Blackwell, Kyle Butler, Austin Ashley, Mike Ashley, Michael Scott, and Matthew Scott.  Honorary pallbearer will be River James Scott.
