Norman Patton Womble Jr., 53, of Jackson, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at GB Sunny Montgomery VA in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, August 28, 1968, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, April 15, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with burial to follow. Bro. Keith Ulmer will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Patton Womble, brother, John Womble, grandparents, Odessa and W.W. Womble, Nettie and Raymond Robb.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Womble Hardy (Skip), sons, Dalton Womble, Devon Womble, daughter, Britton Womble, sister, Nikki Gilpin (Lee), brother/cousin, Bobby Winchester, step-sister, Leslie Campbell (Geoff), nephews, Zane Gilpin, Sage Gilpin, nieces, Anna Marie DeRosia (Dylan), Claire Campbell, Milly Campbell, Lucy Campbell, great-niece, Dylilah DeRosia, mother of his children, Shannon Womble.

Pallbearers will be Scott McDaniel, Chris Monk, William Thornton, Allen Ulmer, Lewis Daniels, Jody Rowell, and Zachary Buckley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Thornton, Wayne Stringer, Darrell Thornton, and Billy McDaniel.
