Patti Lanell Thornton, 51, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Saturday, April 23, 1966 in Chalmette, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM in the chapel. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Wallace and Patricia Lyons Gonzales.

Survivors include her children, Raven Smith (Jason), Meridian, MS and Matthew Thornton (December), Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Caden Thornton, Ethan Thornton, Dawsen Thornton, Tristian Patrick, Julian Thornton, Teysen Thornton, Cade Cook, Luke Cook and Japhia Cook; and siblings, Al Wallace (Angela), John Gonzales, and Lyndea Denise McClendon.
