Paul Edwin Blackwell, 82, of Raleigh, MS, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. He was born Friday, December 19, 1941 in Sylvarena, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 9:30 until 11:00 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs on 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Raleigh, Mississippi.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. 601-764-2181

He was preceded in death by his father, James Paul Blackwell; mother, Alma Viola Thornton Blackwell; and brother-in-law, Charlie Walters.

Survivors include his daughter, Melanie Aultman (John); brother, Kenneth Blackwell (Susan); sisters, Dorothy Walters and Georgia Blackwell; grandson, Jason Holliman; granddaughter, Nicole Holliman; great grandchildren, Stanna Quiroz and Davi Batson; and nephew, Kevin Blackwell (Laura).

Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
