Peggy Ann Bishop, 71, of Bay springs, MS passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 in Laurel, MS. She was born Thursday, January 22, 1953 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Bay Springs on 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, MS. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Bay Springs. The burial will follow in Bay Springs City Cemetery. Bro. James Sprayberry and Bro. Peggy was a believer in Jesus Christ and a proud member of First Baptist Church of Bay Springs. She loved her family, especially her little dog, Woo Woo and her cat, Nipper. Peggy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Bill and Tressie Waites; and sister, Bonnie Dickerson Windham.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, James Bishop; sons, Dwayne Glenn and Mitch Glenn; daughter, Felicity Strickland (Cody); grandsons, Cody Clark, Dakoda Frakes, Dylan Strickland and Hayden Strickland; sisters, Faye Dearman, Rachel Shumock; and brother, Don Waites, and niece, Vicki Cargile.

Pallbearers will be Friends and Family.
