Phillip Clevie Mathis, 71, of Stringer, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Friday, April 21, 1950 in Jasper County, Mississippi.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Lake Como Baptist Church Cemetery with burial to follow. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Mellie Kathryn Mathis, sister, Cubia Kilpatrick, brothers, Fred Mathis, Charlie Mathis.

Survivors include his daughter, Katie Patrick, grandchildren, Kaiden and Kole Patrick, sister, Rachel Stringer (Joe), brothers, Paul Mathis (Mary), Don Mathis (Deanna).

Pallbearers will be Masonic Brothers.
