Rachel Houston Cockrell's Obituary
Mrs. Rachel Cockrell, 91, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at MS Care Center of Raleigh in Raleigh, MS. She was born on September 28, 1926 in Laurel, Mississippi to Woodley and Eula Houston.
Preceding Mrs. Cockrell in death were parents, Woodley and Eula Houston; husband, Delmus Rex Cockrell; siblings, Buel Houston and Lula Mae Weeks.
Survivors include daughters, Becky Sims, Marcia Carroll (Richard), Brenda Crumpton (Fred); 5 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, MS on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Private family graveside service for Mrs. Rachel Houston Cockrell will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Bethany Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Bro Rusty Stockman to officiate at the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sylvarena Baptist Church.
