Raymond Bacil Oswalt, Sr., 83 of Louin, MS passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born Sunday, August 3, 1941 in Starkville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, MS with funeral services at 12:00 PM Burial will follow in Montrose Cemetery.  Bro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Mae Oswalt;  sons, Ray  Oswalt and Lester Oswalt;  parents, R.C.  Oswalt, and Willie  Pennix; and  brother, Jimmy Oswalt.

Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Teri  Oswalt, grandchildren, Justin  Oswalt, Corey  Oswalt, Colby  Oswalt and Kellie  Oswalt; and great-grandchildren  Brody  Oswalt, Carleigh  Oswalt, Grayland  Oswalt, Rowan  Oswalt and Zach  Oswalt.

Pallbearers will be Corey Oswalt, Colby Oswalt, Odell Wheaton, Jack Willoughby, Harry Smith, and Blake Powell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Barkley Cooksey, Michael Bunger, and Brody Oswalt.
