Mrs. Robbie Marie Herrington, age 100, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Willowcreek Retirement Center in Byram, MS. She was born in Tennessee on December 10, 1925, to her parents, Rayburn and Polly Jones Armstrong.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM with the funeral service to follow promptly at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Burial will follow in Bay Springs Cemetery, with Bro. Jeff Martin leading the services.

Mrs. Robbie was born in Tennessee, but she called Bay Springs or Jasper County home for over 80 years. After graduating high school, Mrs. Robbie started working and had several odd jobs before finding her niche, tourism. She dedicated over 30 plus years to Jackson Tour and Travel, serving as a tour guide. When she was not on the road she enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She loved her family dearly and was their biggest supporter.

Mrs. Robbie is preceded in death by her husband Jack Herrington; parents Rayburn and Polly Jones Armstrong; a son, Michael E. Martin; brothers JP Armstrong, Raymond Armstrong, Albert Armstrong; sister, Johnnie Simmons, and Son-in-Law, Jimmy Cowden.

Survivors include her daughters, Polly Cowden and Kate Martin; son, Jeff Martin (Faye); grandchildren, Marty Cowden (Michelle), Wendy Fisk (Kelly), Lara Crowder, Jane Leeann Chandler; 7 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren, and a host of cousins and other extended family.

Pallbearers will be Keegan Cowden, Robert Garner, Scott Ross, and Marty Cowden.
