Robert Clinton Stringer, 83, of Sylvarena, Mississippi, died Monday, February 22, 2021 at Wesley Merit Health in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, July 6, 1937 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Sylvarena Baptist Church in Sylverena, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Sylvarena Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Bro Rusty Stockman will officiate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chalmer and Mattie Stringer, sisters, Karlene Jones, Brenda Windham.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Edith Stringer, sons, James Everett Stringer (Sherry), Robert Chalmer Stringer (Debra), daughter, Jean Stringer, grandchildren, Courtney Cribb, Austin Stringer, Robert Blake Stringer, Alexis Bravo, great-grandchildren, Hayden, Bentley, Ariel, Oliver, Sage, and Karrington, brother, Billy Hill Stringer.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Joe Keyes, Stacey Stringer, Kevin Stringer, Paul Stringer, Phillip McMullan and Carthell Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lex James, Robert Cooper Houston, Danny Bassett and Robin Smith, Shawn McKinley, Bill Wedgeworth.
