Rodney leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Rachel Deloris Jones, their son, David Hinton (Angela) and his two granddaughters, Lakin Alexandra Hinton and Halle Nicole Hinton, who were the apple of Rodney's eye and a source of immense pride.  He would often share heartwarming stories about then, reflecting his deep love and affection. He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, and their children, all of whom he deeply loved.
